Season Information: Dates Tentative

Registration for each league begins on June 22nd

Registration for 7 on 7 ends July 30th

Early registration deadline for Flag/Tackle football: August 6th

Late registration deadline for Flag/Tackle football: August 10th

Mandatory Skills Assessment for 6-7th Graders: August 18th

Games will begin on or after September 17th

Season ends by October 29th

Tackle & 7 on 7

All participants will receive: player insurance, and team jerseys that the participants get to keep.

In addition, the fee also pays for the usage of shoulder pads, and helmets; It is the responsibility of the participant to return equipment immediately following the last game of the season.

7 on 7

Designed to teach kids fundamentals of passing game and pass defense and to help with conditioning.  This league is not about winning and losing, it’s about developing football skills.   

Teams will use the same play book provided by B&G Club.  All teams will use a cover 2 or cover 3 defenses.  All teams will use the football passing tree.

All participants receive: player insurance and team jerseys.

Also included in the fee is the usage of helmets.

Player Distribution Overview

The 7 on 7 (4th-7th) league will utilize a school-based system.

The K -5th league will utilize a school-based system.

The 6th - 7th grade league will utilize a random-selection process and will refer to player skill assessments conducted by the coaches and the Boys and Girls Club staff.

Tackle/Flag Football Season Overview

K - 3rd grade: 6 game season (Tuesday and/or Saturday games)

4th-7th grade: 8 game season (Tuesday and/or Saturday games)

Coaches

All coaches should fill out an application which can be found online.

Head coaches will be assigned by the Boys & Girls Club.
