OutReach

Our goal is to equip children with the knowledge and social skills needed to excel in daily life. To help children enhance and expand their potential in a positive and creative manner. To encourage the growth of high self-esteem within oneself through mentoring, field trips, and the support of the Boys and Girls Clubs. Our mission is to reach out to public housing sites in the Fayetteville area and provide those families with transportation and the opportunity to participate and enjoy The Boys & Girls Club of Fayetteville.

We currently serve children ages 6 to 17. All school age children that fall within the age requirements are encouraged to become involved. A one year membership to the Boys & Girls Club of Fayetteville will be required for all participants and scholarships will be readily available. OutReach is currently operating out of the following locations: Washington Plaza, Morgan Manor, Jennings Mill,& Yvonne Richardson Center, Garland Square & Grandview. Fridays will be reserved for special events, such as field trips, etc.

OutReach has established a reputation for being actively involved in the Fayetteville community. Among the many things that Outreach has achieved, the program still manages to find time to adopt two city streets (Rupple Road and Leroy Pond Drive) and deliver Christmas carols and holiday cheer to local nursing homes.

Outreach also serves the Washington Elementary Creative Cats program.  In Creative Cats, outreach focuses on programming in the following areas; education, physical fitness, and leadership and character.  Outreach is involved with Creative Cats on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
